This welcoming vegetal structure, installed by the Geneva University Hospital (Switzerland), is delighting patients and visitors.

The link between health and vegetal is very strong. Indeed, it is proved scientifically that plants and green spaces contribute to a physiological and psychological wellness. The benefits are plentiful like, for example, on the longevity, reduction of cardiovascular symptoms, respiratory diseases and stress. Then, what’s better than vegetal around an hospital?

This layout, a total bespoke creation, with its seats in exotic wood and its planters in hot-lacquered streel, encourages to a relaxing break. Through the shrubs, flowers and plants, steel archs set up to join the six planters with each other, creating an intriguing, intimist and peaceful space.

In addition, the principal arch shows the access to the building, as a vegetal portal which welcomes us towards a therapeutic comforting space.
